Climate of Fire, a trilogy, is a future post-apocalyptic novel categorized under the sub-genre of dystopian speculative fiction. The year is 2045, and Vancouver has been devastated by an earthquake and tsunami. Four young adults and three children have gravitated together, forming a motley crew of survivors, living in constant fear of the violent gangs. They decide to hike to the Interior, hoping to find a better life.
